OTTAWA – Illinois Valley Community College will be offering a fast “Show & Enroll” event at their Ottawa Center Wednesday.
Students will be able to apply, register, speak with a counselor and, if necessary, a financial aid representative. Every enrollee will receive a $100 IVCC Bookstore gift card and students enrolling in at least six credit hours are eligible for Higher Education Emergency Relief Fund assistance. Those taking 12 or more hours will receive $1,000; those in 6-to-11, $500. Payments will be made after April 7. In addition, this spring, high school students enrolled in all IVCC dual credit and some dual enrollment courses will have tuition waived. Q-Hit-Music 97.7 and 103.3 will also be there with a live radio remote broadcast.
Spring semester classes begin Jan. 10.
