CHICAGO – Local gas prices jumped by around 10 cents compared to earlier this month as we wrap up July. According to the American Automobile Association, statewide numbers have faired similarly, as Illinois’ average has increased around 7 cents, now at $3.43. In LaSalle, Putnam, and Bureau County, folks can expect to pay around an average of $3.30 a gallon at the pump.
