NORTH RIVERSIDE, Ill. (AP) — A suburban Chicago shopping mall was shut down after a man was wounded by gunfire inside the facility. Security officials at North Riverside Park Mall say an argument Friday between two male shoppers ended with shots fired. The condition of the wounded man wasn’t immediately known. Officials say two men matching descriptions given by witnesses to the shooting were taken into custody by police during a “felony traffic stop.” The mall’s spokesperson says the facility was closed for the remainder of Friday.
