MACOMB – All classes were cancelled for Wednesday at Western Illinois University as authorities investigate a shooting on campus.    The school released an early morning statement that around 10:30 PM Tuesday a man was shot in Thompson Hall and the building was evacuated.  Officials say the incident was isolated as a roommate issue, however, they are actively searching for 18-year-old Kavion Poplous whom they describe as allegedly armed and dangerous. The condition of the victim was not disclosed, but they were currently hospitalized as of Wednesday morning.
