Livingston County records one new case of COVID-19

PONTIAC – One more resident of Livingston County has tested positive for COVID19. The latest infected is a man in his 30’s who is recovering in isolation. Officials say he was asymptomatic at the time of testing. Since the pandemic began, Livingston County residents have had 3,044 tests, and of those 56 COVID-19
tests have been confirmed positive, 2,988 tests confirmed negative, 50 of the previously reported
confirmed cases have been removed from isolation, four cases remain active, and, sadly, two
cases have resulted in death due to complications related to COVID-19. Of those individuals
who have tested positive, thirteen were asymptomatic at the time of testing.
