STREATOR – A flurry of activity kept the Streator Police Department busy over the last 24 hours.  Around 4 PM on Sunday in the 100 block of LaSalle Street, they were called to a residence for a report of two guns being taken.  Then a half hour later in the 1400 block of North Sterling Street someone called to report a stereo was stolen from a vehicle.   A fire in the 400 block of Iowa Avenue after midnight reportedly caused by an electric hoverboard caused smoke damage in a home, and finally a number of persons burglarized a gas station around 3:30 AM Monday in the 1400 block of East Main Street and allegedly took multiple items without paying for them.  All of the events are currently under investigation.
