Pet Store heavily damaged in Princeton; most rescued

PRINCETON- A pet store was heavily damaged in Princeton, but according to the owner a majority of the pets made it out alive.   Before 8 PM Saturday a fire was reported in a building in the 600 block of South Main.   A box alarm was issued and multiple agencies were called to the scene.  In a post to social media, the owner indicated that volunteers helped rescue and care for the dozens of animals.   No injuries were reported.  The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
