STREATOR – Streator Township High School’s board approved three new courses. Students will soon have to opportunity to take a Creative Entrepreneurial Opportunities, a full year business course, Construction Process, a second semester program designed to take after an existing course and a forensics course that requires at minimum a concurrent enrollment with chemistry. Principal Amy Jo Mascal says the higher level forensic science course is a great opportunity for students who aren’t interested in taking advanced chemistry or physics. The course proposals were approved unanimously by the department chairs in August.
