WARRINGTON, Fla. (AP) — Residents in a Florida neighborhood are complaining after a family of mini-pigs was left running wild in the area.
Escambia County Animal Control officers say the owners thought it was OK to let the pigs roam freely. Neighbors have been complaining that the wild pigs were roaming the streets and running into people’s yards at all hours of the day and night. The Pensacola News Journal reports that neighbors also complained the pigs were taking over an overgrown lot.
Officials rounded up the pigs Thursday night and returned them to the owner with a warning.
