STREATOR – Contract agreements were made between the city of Streator and its Fire Fighters Union, Wednesday. According to Fire Chief Gary Bird, a $3,000 sign on bonus will be given to firefighters who also work as first responders, including an annual raise starting from 2017 up to December 31st of 2019. Interim City Manager Jeremy Palm says the contract states that all grievances and outstanding arbitration matters are closed.
