STREATOR – Streator’s Enterprize Zone is expected to make extensions into LaSalle and Livingston County. An ordinance was passed at Streator’s City Council meeting, Wednesday, to annex certain territories into the city. An intergovernmental agreement between Livingston County, the cities of Pontiac, Fairbury, Dwight and Forrest allows the area to be added into the zone, amending its tax incentives. Streator’s south side and north side of Dwight will also be included into the tax incentives. Streator will remain in charge of its enterprise zone, and city manager Scot Wrighton will continue to serve as its administrator.
