Grundy County Authorities are investigating the death of a Sandwich Man. The Grundy County Coroner says 18 year old Bladimir Ortega was brought to the Morris Hospital by a friend early yesterday morning. After Ortega was placed in a wheelchair by hospital staff, authorities say the friend said he was going to park his car and come back in, but he left the scene and has yet to come forward. Grundy County Coroner John Callahan says Ortega was pronounced dead at the hospital at 1:23 Saturday morning, and it is believed Ortega may have overdosed on heroin.
