Interstate Eight Conference Tournament – Coal City
The Streator Bulldogs boys basketball team landed a #3 seed in the upcoming Interstate Eight tournament at Coal City. The Bulldogs will play the winner between sixth-seeded Herscher and eleventh-seeded Seneca on Saturday evening at 6:30 PM. The other top seeds in the Interstate Eight tournament include #1 Sandwich, #2 Plano, and #4 Peotone.
The Bulldogs are also in action tonight as they take on Wilmington on the road, JV tip at 5:30 with varsity to follow.
Girls
Interstate Eight Conference Tournament – Coal City
In the girls bracket, Streator is the #9 seed and will open up play at eighth-seeded Sandwich Thursday night. The winner of that game will go on to face top-seeded Plano. The other top seeds for the girls tournament include #2 Peotone, #3 Herscher, and #4 Coal City.
