HIGH SCHOOL BASKETBALL
Boys
at Pops Dale Gymnasium, Streator
Streator varsity boy’s basketball team beat Reed-Custer on Friday night at Pops Dale Gym, 96-70. Five Bulldogs scored in double figures including D’Angelo Pryor with 16 points, Dakota Limberg with 15, Wes Jolly with 13, Joey Byers with 12 and Blake Kelly with 11. The team also grabbed a season-high 50 rebounds. The Bulldogs are now 6-2 overall, 3-0 in the Interstate Eight Conference. They next play in the Plano Christmas Classic on December 27th at 9 AM against the winner of Morris and Fenton.

Rockford East Tournament, Don Carter Lanes, Rockford
Boys
Streator Varsity bowling Bulldogs finished in 9th place with an overall series of 5,424. Trever Siefert led the Bulldogs with a 1,222 six-game series, high games of 254, 204, 211, and 200. Seth Kelly rolled a 1,136 six-game series with a 213 high game, Chandler Bedecker a 1,092 six-game series with a 208 high game. Zack Grabowski rolled a 1,087 six-game series with a high game of 210.
Girls
Streator Varsity bowling Lady Bulldogs rolled a 4,483 series for the tournament. Leading the way was Sydney Gill with a 1,203 six-game series, games of 225, 227, 187, 162, 197 and 205. Gill earned a medal and finished in seventh individually. Lani Cates rolled a 1,053 six-game series with a high game of 217.
 
COLLEGE BASKETBALL
Men’s
Illinois Valley Community College basketball defeated 16th-ranked Lincoln Land College, 70-67. Four Eagles scored in double-figures including Dallas McClain with 17 points, Brady Huebbe and Christian Soderholm had 14 points each, Alec Veverka with 10 points. The Eagles are now 12-4 overall.
Women’s
Illinois Valley Community College basketball fell to Lincoln Land College, 71-54. For the Lady Eagles, Julia Pohar had 16 points, Daniela Pavlovich had 10 points.
